“Social-Emotional Learning for Our Current Times” WORKSHOP
As students and teachers return to classrooms in the fall, what new challenges await them? What tools are readily available to handle the social-emotional needs of students, many of who are dealing with the loss of family members and friends, loss of time, loss of structure, and increased anxiety. How will these variables impact the ability of students to self-regulate and transition into expected roles and behavior? This vital workshop addresses each one of these issues with evidence-based strategies to help teachers, parents, and students achieve common objectives. Covered in this dynamic workshop is the Triple AAA Strategy, a reflection and empathic listening activity, along with case studies, videos, and a student assessment tool.
