“Time and Task Management: A Fresh Approach” WORKSHOP

This professional development workshop challenges several conventional precepts and paradigms by introducing the concept of a “good quitter” and the significance of the number 23, and the correlation between it and distractions. Case studies and traditional time and task management strategies such as the Pomodoro and Chunking techniques are given a fresh approach to address today’s task-heavy work environment. Additionally, increasing personal effectiveness in the current virtual environment is examined to achieve a balance of optimum work performance and health. Lastly, the capstone of this workshop involves participants engaging in several interactive exercises to overcome the number one time-waster—procrastination.
